Up for auction is a 1975-76 Jack Youngblood Los Angeles Rams Game Used Helmet. This helmet was worn by Youngblood during the 1975 and 1976 NFL Seasons and was painted for the 1977 Pro Bowl. Jack Youngblood would win Defensive Player of the Year in 1976 and had a career high 14.5 sacks. This helmet shows fantastic usage. This helmet has a May 1975 manufacturing timeclock on the inside of the helmet. This helmet was painted for the 1977 Pro Bowl. Original Rams colored blue paint is evident on the interior of the helmet and is noticeable on the deep hit marks on the exterior of the helmet. Everything on this helmet is original except the clips holding the facemask to the helmet. The clips were bought after the helmet was acquired so the facemask could be reattached to the helmet. These clips are the same type of clips that the original helmet would have had. This helmet came directly from Jack Youngblood's personal collection and will come with an LOA signed by Youngblood.
