Up for auction is a 1973-74 Greg Sheppard Boston Bruins Goal Puck. Sheppard notched this goal on November 15, 1973 in Boston against the Rangers. The notable thing about this puck is that this was one of the 7 points Bobby Orr would have that evening to set a new NHL record. On this night Bobby Orr would have Three Goals and Four Assists to be the first defenseman in NHL history to record 7 points in a game. This puck is one of those points. The Bruins would go on to win this game 10-2 over the Rangers. I have only ever seen one other puck in the hobby that is part of the 7 points. To my knowledge, the other 5 points have never surfaced. I have owned this puck for several years in my personal collection. This puck is part of the NHL's 70's puck program which lasted two seasons. It is registered under the number BB-2-075.
