1997 Titanic Screen Used Floating Dummy Head!
Up for auction is a Screen Used Dummy Head from the 1997 Blockbuster Movie Titanic. This Dummy Head was used during one of the last scenes of the movie on a dummy that was floating in the water after the Titanic sank. This prop was part of a full dummy that was floating in the water during the final scenes but the dummy was heavily damaged from transportation. It made the most sense to disconnect the head (since it was hanging on by a thread) and sell it as is. I included a picture of what the full dummy looked like. I purchased several of these screen used dummies from the Planet Hollywood auction. This dummy head is a high quality prop with a metal frame but does show heavy usage from filming. The wig is glued on the head and seems to still have a very strong adhesion. This item originated from 20th Century Fox and will come with a copy of the COA I received from Planet Hollywood for the dummy lot. Titanic is one of, if not, the most iconic movie ever made. Screen worn items from this movie are nearly impossible to find, let alone items from memorable scenes. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions feel free to ask!
